Choose "My Places"
*Click on Create with Classic My Maps
*may need to click EDIT

Search for your location in the search bar at the top
~A map with a place marker will appear on the location

At the top left of this map you will see 3 buttons - two are important to us: hand and marker drop

Click on the marker drop button and drag it to the marker on the map

Type in an appropriate title and click "Rich Text" to get more toolbars

Click inside the text box to type text

Click OK to save
